Use the calendar for planning, the publisher for confirmation

Start with the upcoming TCG release calendar to build a shortlist. Follow the official product link when available and check that the date applies to the edition and region you want. A Japanese release and an English release can be different launches.

The calendar and these guides have different jobs: the calendar tracks upcoming dates; this guide helps you assess a preorder. Check the source again before ordering if a date is estimated or has changed.

Read what the retailer is actually offering

Make sure the listing is for a full box, single pack, bundle or collection as intended. Match the set code and language, and check whether extras shown in promotional pictures are included. Do not infer a bonus from an image alone.

Look for the expected dispatch date and the retailer’s wording about allocation. If an order depends on stock that the shop has not yet received, read how shortages or changes are handled. A product launch date and your parcel’s dispatch date are separate facts.

  • Exact product, edition and language.
  • Expected dispatch date and delivery destination.
  • Payment timing, cancellation terms and handling of unavailable stock.

ScalperScalper

Follow the products you actually want.

Turn what you have just read into a personal alert. Choose your game, product language and price range in ScalperScalper.

Alert features depend on your plan. Availability and checkout are managed by the retailer.

Follow new listings without refreshing every shop

In ScalperScalper, choose the game and new products, then add a set code or distinctive product keyword. Filter product language, stores or store countries, and price in the currency you use. Confirm that each result is a preorder on the retailer’s page: “new product” is a discovery signal, not a dedicated preorder status.

Restock alerts serve a different purpose: they help you follow products that return to stock. Choose new products when searching for newly listed sets, and restocks when waiting for an existing listing to become available again.

Compare the total cost and save the order details

Compare like with like: same format, same language and same edition. Add delivery and any applicable import charges before deciding. If a retailer displays another currency, account for the conversion that your payment method will use.

Once you order, keep the confirmation and the dispatch estimate supplied by the retailer. ScalperScalper helps you discover the listing; the seller handles payment, fulfilment and questions about the order. Set a budget before the drop so that an alert helps you make a decision instead of rushing it.

Common questions

Does a preorder guarantee delivery on release day?

No. Check the seller’s dispatch estimate and delivery terms. A publisher’s release date is not a promise about your individual shipment.

Are new-product alerts the same as preorder alerts?

No. New-product alerts identify newly discovered listings in covered shops. Confirm preorder status and dispatch details on the retailer’s page.

Should I use the calendar or an alert?

Use the calendar to plan around upcoming releases and alerts to follow listings. Neither replaces the retailer’s current availability and order terms.
